Musgrave Park Hospital
Project Start date: 2015
Project Completion date: 2015
Musgrave Park Hospital specialises in orthopaedics and rheumatology and is home to Northern Ireland’s first Acquired Brain Injury Unit. The hospital is spread across a large site in South Belfast, and includes a mix of building dating within the last 10 years and some dating back to the Second World War and before.
Atlas World was appointed to design, install and maintain an automatic energy metering and renewable energy system across the site, to improve energy efficiencies and reduce carbon emissions throughout the estate.AMM&T
Atlas World designed, installed and commissioned a bespoke automatic Monitoring, Metering and Targeting system (aMM&T) for the Musgrave Park Hospital Estate, to measure Electric, Gas, Water, Steam consumption and system efficiencies. Collecting energy data at 30 minute intervals, the aMM&T system enables significant and tangible savings to be made from hardwired communication modules. As a result of this system, Musgrave Park estate has not only saved on energy and costs, but has also raised awareness across its various departments of the importance of and ways to become more energy and resource efficient.Solar PV
Atlas World also installed a system of solar PV panels. rail mounted onto pitched roofs and ballasted flat roof buildings. The solar PV system is linked into the aMMt network, to provide a highly effective and integrated system for optimising energy efficiencies, cutting costs and generating revenue from government incentives.
