Works were conducted in a live residential environment, requiring careful planning to maintain protection for tenants and minimise disruption.

System Design & Components

Full upgrade of the fire alarm system across a social housing scheme, improving reliability, compliance, and safety for residents and staff.

The upgraded system was designed to enhance life safety coverage and integrate seamlessly with the building’s infrastructure.
Key elements included:

• Addressable Fire Alarm System – replacement of control panels, sounders, and call points for full coverage.
• Domestic Detectors – new smoke and heat detectors installed within flats to improve early detection and LD2 coverage.
• System configured to allow live monitoring and phased commissioning, ensuring protection remained operational throughout the works.
